General information

Victoria Park Belmont Baseball Club welcomes players of all ages and encourages everyone to participate regardless of whether they are new to the game or have played before.

The Club strongly encourages involvement by all and being a volunteer organisation we rely heavily on participation by people of all ages, experienced or not. There are many ways to get involved - through playing, assistant coaching, scoring, managing, umpiring, helping out with canteen and social events, committee positions and sponsorship.

All players must be registered and online registration is open through until the end of August each year. This needs to be completed in order for team nominations to be submitted to the league and for fixtures to be created for all teams in all grades.

Registration

  • Online Registration is quick and easy. Simply click on any of the Registration tabs on the website and follow the prompts.

  • Registrations need to be completed by the end of August each year so that team nominations and fixtures can be organised.

  • You will be required to pay Baseball Australia and Baseball WA capitation fees when registering (these were approximately $88 for the 2024/25 season).

Clearances

Any player who has registered and played Baseball in Australia, requires a clearance to move from one club to another. A clearance form will need to be completed by all players not on the GameDay Database requesting a clearance to move clubs in WA or interstate. If you are wanting to transfer from another club, please contact the Registrar at vpbbc.registrar@outlook.com before attempting to register online.

Baseball Fee Structure

The calculation of player fees is based upon the contributing costs of ground hire, equipment, umpiring, facility maintenance, team nomination fees and insurance. As a not-for-profit organisation, these fees ensure the Club can provide safe and well-maintained facilities, quality equipment, qualified officials, competition entry and appropriate insurance coverage for all participants throughout the season.

Playing fees do not cover all expenses incurred, therefore fundraising is necessary and the support of all players and families is essential and appreciated.
