VPBBC 2020 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
With COVID-19 restrictions still in place the committee has made the decision to postpone the Victoria Park Belmont Baseball Club Annual General Meeting until such time that a quorum can meet in a face-to-face environment rather than the previously scheduled date of Monday 25th May 2020.
The meeting will proceed subject to the current government restrictions on public gatherings and social distancing being lifted and in the interim the sitting committee will remain in their respective positions.
If you are interested in helping out and shaping the direction of the club in 2020/21 please contact any of the current committee members (contact details are on the website) or forward your nomination to the Secretary - email@example.com
New club coach
The Victoria Park Belmont Baseball Club is pleased to announce the appointment of the new club coach for the 2019/20 season
Welcome to 'The Park' DYLAN BRAMMER
Dylan comes to us boasting an impressive resumè, including 3 seasons in the South Australian State League where he owns a 1.6 ERA and a .341 BA as well as winning back to back Capps Medals - League MVP (the equivalent of the Neville Pratt Medal in WA).
There's not much Dylan can't do. Born and raised in Indiana, the 29 year old right hander dominates on the hill, hits with power, plays solid D up the middle and coaches with success.
Aside from three seasons with Baseball South Australia's Port Adelaide Magpies where he boasts the combined 1.6 ERA and .341 BA and consecutive Capps Medal wins, the right handed fireballer racked up some great stats in the Czech Republic, where Bram owns a 1.1 ERA with a .368 BA and a league record 157 K's.
Seen here, tearing it up on the mound for the New Jersey Jackals, Dylan has been on fire in the Independent Leagues in the States and is very much looking forward to heading back Down Under to The Park and sharing his baseball knowledge with our young group of players.

Meet the new guy behind the dish - Gavin stupienski
REDS new catcher, Gavin Stupienski, originally from Princeton New Jersey is super excited be out here and form an integral part of the VPB Reds team. Currently playing for the Lake Erie Crushers in the Independent Frontier League, the left handed hitter has been racking up some pretty good numbers both behind the dish and at the plate since graduating from UNC Wilmington and being picked up as part of the Arizona Diamondbacks organisation.
The 25 year old can also play the corners and some outfield, but will feature as our wall behind the plate in the absence of college bound Josh Greenham. In his last 6 seasons playing college, minors and independent league baseball, Gavin has a healthy .986 Fld% and .310 BA.
Head down to 'The Park' to meet Dylan & Gavin
