Meet the new fireballer on the mound-
Cole Jenkins
REDS new starting pitcher, Cole Jenkins, originally from Little Rock Arkansas is super excited to be out here and forming an integral part of the VPB Reds team.
Cole is a 188cm Lefty that throws around 90Mph and will look to shut opposition defences down. During the 2021 Belgian season, Cole helped the Brasschaat Braves to an appearance in the Belgian finals while maintaining a 2.14 ERA and collecting 7 wins along the way. Similar numbers and a similar result will help take the Park to the finals.
The 26 year old Cole played for the Drury University Panthers majoring in Masters Business Administration and had some pretty handy numbers on the hill. He will be one of the REDS starters this year, with the odd relieving role and can play some outfield.
Cole Jenkins: "I'm extremely grateful for the opportunities this sport has given me and the idea of continuing to do what I love amid another culture has always been a dream of mine. I can contribute to a team overseas on and off the field, and ultimately, I hope to give back to a game that has given me so much".

The Aussie team hasn't started so well with losses to Mexico, Chinese Taipei and Japan but Riley has thrown well in his appearances on the hill and is doing himself, his parents and club proud. Keep it up Riley!

New club coach
The Victoria Park Belmont Baseball Club is pleased to announce the appointment of the new club coach for the 2019/20 season
Welcome to 'The Park' DYLAN BRAMMER
Dylan comes to us boasting an impressive resumè, including 3 seasons in the South Australian State League where he owns a 1.6 ERA and a .341 BA as well as winning back to back Capps Medals - League MVP (the equivalent of the Neville Pratt Medal in WA).
There's not much Dylan can't do. Born and raised in Indiana, the 29 year old right hander dominates on the hill, hits with power, plays solid D up the middle and coaches with success.
Aside from three seasons with Baseball South Australia's Port Adelaide Magpies where he boasts the combined 1.6 ERA and .341 BA and consecutive Capps Medal wins, the right handed fireballer racked up some great stats in the Czech Republic, where Bram owns a 1.1 ERA with a .368 BA and a league record 157 K's.
Seen here, tearing it up on the mound for the New Jersey Jackals, Dylan has been on fire in the Independent Leagues in the States and is very much looking forward to heading back Down Under to The Park and sharing his baseball knowledge with our young group of players.

The 25 year old can also play the corners and some outfield, but will feature as our wall behind the plate in the absence of college bound Josh Greenham. In his last 6 seasons playing college, minors and independent league baseball, Gavin has a healthy .986 Fld% and .310 BA.
