Trevor Dawson
Heritage Committee

As a proud parent of two boys playing Little League, Kate joined the Victoria Park community in 2024. From day 1 she's been committed to helping the Club grow and nurturing an environment where families feel welcome and kids are empowered to develop their skills. Kate believes strongly in putting in hands-on effort, whether that means volunteering behind the scenes, supporting junior development or bringing fresh ideas to build on what's already great here. As part of that commitment, our boys recently attended a baseball camp in the USA, which was transformative for their growth and it reinforced how much opportunity there is in helping every player reach their potential.

Kate would love to bring that same energy and dedication to the committee, working together to keep VPBBC a place where every child and family can feel part of something special.

Trevor joined the Club as a parent in the 2002/03 season when eldest son Luke moved to the Club from Willetton. By the 2005/06 season Trevor's other two sons, Tim and Chris (Jar) had become part of the Club also. Trevor joined the committee in 2005/06, became Vice President in 2007/08 for 2 years before becoming President for the next 10 years. Forced to relinquish the role for personal reasons Trevor has remained a committee member and contributes greatly to researching and consolidating the history of the Club.

Kristie Hazell

I’ve been part of the VPBBC family since 2018, when my son first started Little League, but my connection goes back even further. I grew up around the club in the ’80s when my dad played, so baseball has always been part of my life. These days I look after the club’s Xero accounts, score games, and you’ll often find me around the grounds cheering on my son and lending a hand wherever it’s needed.
